Robust Lab Infrastructure

High-Efficiency Fume Hoods

The laboratory space was designed to offer maximum flexibility for incoming tech tenants. The centerpiece of this project is a series of (20) high-efficiency Protector XL fume hoods. These advanced hoods include auto-closing sashes and feature pre-plumbed lines for both VAC (vacuum) and NIT (nitrogen) on designated posts. Additionally, GFCI outlets on both sides, epoxy countertops, and dedicated acid and flammable cabinets beneath each hood provide a comprehensive work environment.

Designed for Discovery

The innovative design of these fume hoods allows them to operate at a low face velocity of 60 fpm, further enhancing containment while optimizing energy use. Beyond the fume hood enclosures, the lab is fully equipped with modern lab casework, durable phenolic countertops, and dedicated office space – ready to support the next generation of lab discoveries.
